Laura attended Wake Forest University for her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercises Science. She graduated from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. In 2015, she completed the prestigious and very rigorous Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) and in 2016 she became a Certified Lymphedema Therapy Specialist (CLS). In addition to clinical practice Laura is a contributing faculty member at the University of St. Augustine, teaching courses in Integumentary and Patient Care Management.
Laura has been treating patients in the outpatient setting since she graduated and loves seeing patients through their entire rehabilitation process. She treats a variety of patients with orthopedic conditions as well as patients who are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, post-operative lumpectomies and mastectomies, chronic venous insufficiency, and lipo-lymphedema.
Laura Alexander was born and raised in Florida and she loves living in St. Augustine. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time at the beach and is actively involved in her local church.
