Prerna Poojary-Mazzotta, PhD, OTR/L

Prerna graduated in 2010 from L.T. Medical College, India with a degree in Occupational therapy and pursued a Masters in Occupational therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 2011. She further went on to complete her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences and Technology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. She joined the STARS Rehab team in 2016 and has proven to be a valuable asset to our company with her extensive advanced knowledge and excellent patient care.

Prerna worked primarily in nursing homes and in-patient rehabilitation after completing her masters. After completing didactic work for the PhD program she accepted a position as an Instructor at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in 2015. She continued conducting her PhD research work while she taught at the University and started practicing as a home health therapist. Prerna has advanced training and certifications in wound care, lymphedema therapy, oncology & lymphedema management, and in gerontology with a specialization in mental health. She is continuing to conduct research at the University of Saint Augustine and presenting at national conferences.

David Lomaglio, PT, OCS

David graduated in 1996 from Florida State University with a degree in Biology and went on to pursue his Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from the University of Saint Augustine, graduating Cum Laude in 1999.

Andrew Schreiner, PT

Andrew Schreiner earned his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of North Florida in 2015. Active in the health and fitness community since 2007, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with a focus on exercise physiology in 2011.

Sarah Braddock, PT

Sarah Braddock studied to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of South Florida, completing her degree in 2015. In 2011 she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of North Florida, with a focus in exercise science, and became an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist.

Melanie Lomaglio, PT, MSc, DPT, NCS

Melanie brings 20 years of clinical experience to her patients at STARS and demonstrates a life long commitment to learning so that she can provide the most up to date, evidenced based care for her patients.
