David Lomaglio, MPT, MTC, OCS
David graduated in 1996 from Florida State University with a degree in Biology and went on to pursue his Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from the University of Saint Augustine, graduating Cum Laude in 1999. He became a board certified orthopedic physical therapy specialist in 2008 and renewed in 2018. In 2009 David founded STARS Rehab.
Melanie Lomaglio, PT, DPT, MSc., NCS and Facility Dog Harley
Melanie brings over 20 years of clinical experience to her patients at STARS and specializes in treating people with Parkinson's disease (PD) and Parkinson's related conditions. She is LSVT BIG and PWR! certified, two well known targeted therapy programs for people with PD. Harley, STARS facility dog, works along side her bringing joy and fun to each therapy session!
Emily Benn, PT, DPT
Emily received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in dance and choreography from Ohio University. Prior to graduate school, Emily danced and taught professionally throughout the north east as a modern dancer. In the clinic she utilizes manual therapy, yoga, Pilates, dance, and Thai massage to facilitate healing
Andrew Schreiner, PT, DPT, OCS
Andrew Schreiner earned his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of North Florida in 2015. Active in the health and fitness community since 2507, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with a focus on exercise physiology in 2011. Andrew became board certified in orthopedics physical therapy in 2020
Laura Alexander, PT, DPT, MTC, CLT
Laura attended Wake Forest University for her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercises Science. She graduated from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. In 2015, she completed a Manual Therapy Certification (MTC), and in 2016 she became a Certified Lymphedema Therapy Specialist (CLS).
Paige Schreiner, PT, DPT, MTC, CLT, OCS, CSCS
Paige attended the University of North Florida for her undergraduate degree in Exercises Science. She graduated from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. She then went on to complete a Manual Therapy Certification in 2015 (MTC). Paige is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapy Specialist (CLT) since 2015, and recently became board certified in orthopedics in 2020. Paige can fit patients with lymphedema garments and compression ware, and is passionate about rehabilitating the breast cancer survivor.
Debra Mullin, SLP
Debra Mullin received her Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University. She has over 20 years of experience as a Speech and Language therapist and has worked in all settings from outpatient to hospital to home care. She is certified for LSVT LOUD (for low volume speech) and the SPEAK out program from the Parkinson Voice Institute. Both are evidenced based treatment approaches for people with PD. She specializes in disorders of swallowing, a common impairment that can occur in Parkinson's and related diseases. She is certified for both VitalStim with (external electrical stimulation therapy for swallowing) therapies and is able to incorporate the use of SEMG with VitalStim Plus. Neuromuscular electrical stimulation helps recruit and re-educate muscles in the process of swallowing. There is increasing evidence supporting the efficacy of cognitive rehabilitation interventions and cognitive stimulation programming. Debra provides focused cognitive linguistic evaluations and provides rehab strategies for home exercises, individual and group therapy. Debra provides treatment via 1:1 sessions, telehealth and through group activities including both LOUD Crowd and Sing out Loud.
Outside of work Debra enjoys time with her two children and husband. She loves cooking and experimenting with new recipes.
George "Paul" Hebbler, PT, DPT
Paul is a New Orleans native who graduated from Louisiana State University in 2509 with a B.S. in psychology. He attended physical therapy school at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences from which he graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. Paul specializes in the treatment of people with Parkinson's disease and is a certified Parkinson's Wellness and Recovery Trained therapist.
Thomas Olesko, PT, DPT, OCS
Thomas Olesko received his undergraduate and doctoral degree in PT at Ithaca college in 2017. After graduation Thomas completed a one year orthopedic residency at the university of Rochester. More specifically, specializing in mobilization and manipulation techniques of the spine and extremities. Thomas is board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist and is currently participating in a manual orthopedic fellowship at the University of St. Augustine.
Ryan Beaton, PT, DPT
Ryan Beaton graduated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan with his Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Exercise Science in 2014. He graduated from the University of St. Augustine with honors while obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019.
Brianna Bean, PT, DPT, OCS
Brianna graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St Augustine in 2016, Clinically she enjoys treating patients with orthopedic injuries and rehabilitating patients after surgery. Brianna became board certified in orthopedics in 2020.
Lisa Comella, PT, DPT
Lisa Comella is a graduate of the University of Mount Union in Ohio where she received a BS in exercise science, followed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2015. She is a manual therapy certified (MTC) Physical Therapist with clinical experience treating a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses, including necks, backs and extremities.
Anna McIntyre, PT, DPT
Anna McIntyre received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in 2016. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from George Mason University in 2011. She is certified in treating patients with Parkinson’s disease through LSVT BIG and Parkinson's Wellness and Recovery Program (PWR!)
Nathan Guy, PT, DPT, MTC, OCS
Nathan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Augustine in 2017 and his Manual Therapy Certification in 2018. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina in 2014. Nathan became board certified in orthopedics in 2020.
Lee Richards, PT, DPT
Lee earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2020 where he was awarded the Stanley V. Paris and Catherine E. Patla Award for Excellence in Manual Therapy while graduating with high honors. He has been active in the physical therapy clinic since 2012 when he graduated from Liberty University with his Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and became an American College of Sports Medicine certified Health Fitness Specialist. Currently, Lee is pursuing his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) and carries a passion for the overhead athlete as well as general orthopedics and musculoskeletal conditions.
Carissa Lang, PT, DPT
Carissa received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology & Health Promotion from the University of Wyoming in 2013. She then attended Northern Arizona University from which she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. Carissa is a certified Parkinson's Wellness and Recovery (PWR Moves!) trained therapist, and has a strong passion for treating people with neurologic involvement.
Garrett Sweringen, PT, DPT
Garrett received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Health Sciences - Pre Clinical. He was a collegiate wrestler during his time at U.C.F. and earned Academic All-American status. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Saint Augustine for the Health Sciences and graduated with the highest honors.
Elizabeth "Libby" Bergman, PT, DPT, MTC, OCS, FAAOMPT
Libby specializes in the treatment of orthopaedic dysfunctions of the spine and extremities. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Saint Augustine in 2007. She is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) and holds a certification in Manual Therapy (MTC) from the University of Saint Augustine. Libby also has extensive experience with dry needling for pain management and recently . Libby never stops learning and is currently pursuing her PhD in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman's University.
Alison Mantel, PT, DPT, OCS
Alison Mantel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2011 during which she was an All-American water polo player. After graduating, she played professional water polo in Pamplona, Spain and coached age group and high school water polo and swimming in Orlando, Florida.
Rhiannon Gluhosky, PT, DPT, CMTPT
Rhiannon Gluhosky earned her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2016, where she was awarded the Stanley V. Paris and Catherine E. Patla Award for Excellence in Manual Therapy. Prior to attending the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, Rhiannon graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC with a BS in Biology.
