Speech and Swallowing disorders
Debra Mullin received her Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University. She has over 20 years of experience as a Speech and Language therapist and has worked in all settings from outpatient to hospital to home care. She specializes in disorders of swallowing, a common impairment that can occur in Parkinson’s and related diseases. She utilizes both LSVT LOUD (for low volume speech) and VitalStim (external electrical stimulation therapy for swallowing) therapies, two evidenced based treatment approaches, for people with PD.
Outside of work Debra enjoys time with her two children and husband. She loves experimenting with new recipes and taking advantage of the wonderful events we have here in St. Augustine.
