David brings nearly 20 years of clinical experience to his patients at STARS. He graduated in 1996 from Florida State University with a degree in Biology and went on to pursue his Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from the University of Saint Augustine, graduating Cum Laude in 1999.
Since graduation, David has been practicing primarily in outpatient orthopedics and has extensive continuing education training in treatment concepts. He has continuously pursued advanced certifications including a Board Certification in Clinical Orthopedics (OCS 2008, Re-certified in 2018), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS 2002), Manual Therapy Certification (MTC 2007), and Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (CGFI 2009). He was adjunct faculty with the University of Saint Augustine before coming to STARS Rehab and continues to serve as a guest lecturer. David’s clinical interests include golf performance enhancement and rehabilitation, and general orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
He has continued to pursue TPI education recently completing the final Level III Golf Fitness Instructor Certification.
David resides in Saint Augustine beach with his wife, Melanie, and two children. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, staying involved with youth baseball, beach volleyball and spending time with his family.
