David, along with his wife Melanie, founded STARS Rehab in 2009 and brings over 20 years of clinical expertise to the practice. He graduated in 1996 from Florida State University with a degree in Biology and went on to pursue his Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from the University of Saint Augustine, graduating Cum Laude in 1999.
Since graduation, David has been practicing primarily in outpatient orthopedics and has extensive continuing education training in treatment concepts. He has continuously pursued advanced certifications including a Board Certification in Clinical Orthopedics (OCS 2008, Re-certified in 2018), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS 2002), Manual Therapy Certification (MTC 2007), and Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (CGFI 2009). He was adjunct faculty with the University of Saint Augustine before coming to STARS Rehab and continues to serve as a guest lecturer. David's clinical interests include golf performance enhancement and rehabilitation, and general orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
His current focus is on growing STARS rehab, nurturing a business culture that people are enthusiastic to be a part of, and creating an outpatient rehabilitation experience for all clients that exceeds expectations.
David resides in Saint Augustine beach with his wife, Melanie, and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, consuming knowledge and spending time with his family.
