Emily received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in dance and choreography from Ohio University. Prior to graduate school, Emily danced and taught professionally throughout New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut for 10+ years as a modern dancer. She utilizes an extensive repertoire with foundations in evidence-based physical therapy practice, manual therapy, yoga, Pilates and dance to facilitate healing. She is Certified in Manual Trigger Point Therapy - Dry Needling and prefers a hands-on approach to healing. Her diverse background affords her the knowledge and skillset to develop a holistic approach to physical therapy that stems from an artistic and athletic perspective.
Emily specializes in TMD (temporomandibular joint dysfunction), is AIB Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation, treating vertigo; and is pursuing further certifications in treatment of spinal disorders. Emily is the Clinic Director of the South office.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son playing and relaxing at the beach, practicing yoga, dancing, learning, and traveling.
